Meet Our Youth Leaders
Joshua Weatherspoon
My name is Joshua Weatherspoon. I am a college student at the University of Florida. I grew up in church and had a lovely youth group back home. It is where I truly found my faith in Jesus; a faith that desired for God to show up in other people's lives like he did in mine. I gained community, a passion for the Lord, and a love for others as well. I got into youth ministry because I want to provide the same thing for students in middle and high school. I had a vision that I wanted this ministry to be 3D: Developing Driven Disciples.
Makenzie Daniel
My name is Makenzie Daniel and I'm currently a student at the University of Florida! I had the opportunity to attend an amazing youth group from 8th grade until my senior year. Within that youth group, I was shepherded by some amazing leaders, and through them, I learned the importance of living and loving like Jesus. My own experiences have given me the desire to continue pouring into middle and high school students. In Salt Youth, it is my goal to lead the students towards Jesus while creating a space where they feel at home. I can't wait to make new and special memories with each developed and driven disciple!
